Our Services

Services

We emphasize the importance of 6 month wellness examinations and preventative health care including vaccinations, parasite prevention, strategic deworming, dental care, nutrition, senior health screening, client education, and many other areas of internal medicine.  Keeping your pet healthy involves a relationship between you, your pet and your veterinarian.  Through this cooperation, we can prevent disease and promote a long and healthy life for your pet.

Laboratory and X-ray:

Laboratory and X-ray services are an integral part of diagnosis of disease in veterinary medicine today.  Our laboratory utilizes
IDEXX and Heska laboratory equipment and in house diagnostic tests.  This enables our team to provide most urgent blood tests in less than one hour. Through the use of cytology, special staining and parasite collection techniques, we are able to diagnose parasite infestations and screen for cancer. Our X-ray suite employs a state-of-the-art x-ray generator which allows the use of less radiation while providing superior image quality.  X-ray films are developed in 90 seconds.  This technology provides rapid diagnosis and enhances safety for your pet.

Dentistry Service:

We know that proper dental care will keep your pet healthy and help them live a longer, healthier life.  We would be happy to talk with you about how you can prevent dental disease through proper teeth brushing and appropriate dental diets.  Your pet should have a professional dental cleaning on a regular basis.
Our dentistry suite provides the facility necessary to keep your pet's mouth healthy.

Surgical Services:

We offer a complete line of surgical services including orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, spays, neuters, and declawing and much more.  We utilize all of the latest surgical techniques and our technicians are ceritfied in anesthetic monitoring.  We utilize a Radiowave radiosurgical unit for almost all of our surgeries. Radiowave surgery utilizes high frequency radiowaves to provide focused cutting and minimizes the amount tissue destruction.  This allows for shorter periods of anesthesia, and faster post-surgical healing time.  It decreases pain and swelling after surgery.  There is less blood loss and reduced risk of infection.  It is safer than laser surgery and there is no burning or charring of the tissue.  The need for surgery can be a concern for many pet owners.  We want to put you at ease by informing you about the surgical process, recovery, and any potential complications.  Your pet is always a priority to us.

Community:

Our health care team is active in the community.  We provide hospital tours and programs to a number of nursery school, scout and other civic organizations every year.  Dr. Will is active in the Kiwanis Club of Alden, the Alden Chamber of Commerce, and Town Line Lutheran Church.  We also provide opportunities for youth interested in veterinary medicine and internship opportunities for veterinary technician students.  If your organization could benefit from an animal related program, please let us know. Every year Dr. Will is also proud to participate in area parades with his Country Village Pet Care Train.  Many of the local children enjoy dressing up and getting to ride in the train in the parades.
