Gladys' Human's are Ellen & Al
We Have Been Enjoying Gladys's Visits Since September 2003
In March 2007 Gladys came in for her 6 month wellness exam.
Sadly we had another pet in for emergency surgery.
This pet was in need of a blood transfusion.
Unlike humans, dogs can accept an initial transfusion without typing and crossmatching the blood.
Since Gladys was here and up to date on all of her wellness needs, she and her owner's agreed to help the sick dog.
It took about 10 minutes to get enough blood for the transfusion and
Gladys was well-behaved through the whole process.
The collection of her blood was successful.
So was the surgery and the transfusion to the other dog.
Hopefully, thanks to Dr. Will, Gladys and her humans,
the other dog will have many more happy days to enjoy.
